Obituary of Ronald L. Rickerson

Ronald L. Rickerson, 77, of Russell, PA, formerly of Jamestown, died Friday March 26, 2021 in UPMC Hamot, Erie. A Jamestown native, he was born April 27, 1943, the son of Edwin and Elverna Hegg Rickerson. He was a 1961 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was a veteran of the US Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed by SKF as a Manufacturing Engineer. He was a member of the Vikings, Jamestown Rifle Club and Pine Grove Sportsman's Club. He is survived by his wife Mary Beth Aldrich Rickerson, whom he married March 29, 1969; two children Rosemary (Kevin) Ruttenbur of Clarendon, PA and Adam (Tara) Rickerson of Broomfield, CO; and three grandchildren Jake Ruttenbur and Max and Chase Rickerson. His friends and family will always remember his love of technology and sarcastic sense of humor. We have all been defeated by him at every card and board game we ever played.
