Obituary of Priscilla B. Kenyon
Priscilla B. Kenyon, 57 of 37 Hazeltine Ave. Jamestown, died Saturday April 17, 2010 in the Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA.
She was born August 16, 1952 in Jamestown the daughter of Robert A. and Audrey M. Anderson Johnson.
Priscilla was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown Community College. For over 35 years, she was employed at Habiterra Architecture. She was a member of the YWCA board; Zion Covenant Church where she taught Sunday school; and she served on her high school class reunion committee. Priscilla loved tending to her flower gardens.
Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown, are her husband, Robert W. Kenyon whom she married October 11, 1975; her son, Drew R. Kenyon of Rochester; two sisters, Barbara A. (Raymond) Souter of Kenmore, NY; Karin M. (Robert III) Rich of Buffalo; two brothers, Craig R. (Barbara) Johnson of Tonawanda, NY; Rev. Douglas W. (Mary) Johnson of Santa Barbara, CA; her sister in law, Billie-Jean (Joseph J.) Bleil of Jamestown; her aunt Mildred V. Anderson (Mrs. Alvin); Uncles Leslie E. Anderson, LeRoy M. Anderson, all of Jamestown; Lawrence W. Buechler of Stephenson, MI; nieces and nephews, Michael A. Johnson of Buffalo; Adam C. Johnson of Cambridge, MA; Ryan D. Johnson, Linnea E. Johnson, both of Chicago, IL; Brittney Lull of Rochester, NY; R.J. Souter of Kenmore, NY; Jenna C. Rich and Eric R. Rich both of Buffalo; cousins, Todd A. (Linda) Anderson of Jamestown; Thomas E. Anderson of Arlington, VA; David L. (Patti) Anderson of Gaithersburg, MD; Susan M. (Keith) Carlson of Dassel, MN; Daniel M. (Rachel) Anderson of Willmar, MN; Bruce R. (Yukiko) Anderson of Glen Ridge, NJ; Mary E. (Mark) Ochs of Trumansburg, NY; Kenneth L. (Lori) Buechler of Stephenson, MI; and David M. (Donna) Buechler of Daggett, MI.
She was preceded in death by her father on September 26, 2002; a nephew, Shane C. Johnson; an aunt, Dolores Buechler; and an uncle, Alvin E. Anderson.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Covenant Church. The Rev. Rick Miller, pastor, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
