Obituary of Margaret L. Green

Margaret L. "Peg" Green, 72, of 1205 Norby Road, Jamestown, died Wednesday May 6, 2010 in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown area resident for 56 years, she was born January 15, 1938 in Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of the late Clark and Ruth Smith Wachob. She loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending the sporting events of her sons and grandchildren. Surviving are three children Tammy (Jerry) Bromley of Niobe, Howard Green, Jr. of Jamestown and Terry (Stacy) Green of Port Republic, MD, eight grandchildren Derek, Corey and Quinton Cusimano and Kyle, Miranda, Marley, Kole and Leah Green, three sisters Bea Chesnut Swan of Salamanca, NY, Erma Case of Bear Lake, PA and Cora Wachob Barthalemew of Pennsylvania, a brother Bill Wachob of West Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Green, Sr., whom she married June 28, 1958 and who died April 24, 2005 and a brother Harry Wachob. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Angus Watkins retired pastor, will officiate. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
