Obituary of Julia A. Kulcsar

Julia A. Kulcsar, 93, formerly of Ashville, NY died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Elmira, NY where she had resided since 2006. She was born September 16, 1916 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mildred White Peebles. Surviving are two grandchildren: Kathleen (Clay) Bullers of Big Flats, NY and John (Kim) Frye of S. Williamsport, PA; five great grandchildren: Scott (Shannon) Bullers of Dallas, PA, SFC Carl (Kelly) Frye of Whispering Pines, NC, Shannon Bullers of Syracuse, NY, Lindsay Bullers of Big Flats and Amanda Frye of S. Williamsport; and eight great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl O. "Red" Larson who died in 1976; second husband, Alex Kulcsar Jr. who died in 2003; a daughter, Karen M. Frye, who died in 2007; and in 1964, a grandson, Lawrence K. Frye. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
