I've learned a lot from my father-in-law, but perhaps the biggest lesson is how to die with grace and dignity. He said that obituaries are on the same page as birth announcements, a natural cycle. He said the newspapers "get it". He added, "So, I wouldn't be too concerned about it all." He will leave a hole in our family, that's for sure.
