Obituary of Kitty L. Kephart

Kitty L. Kephart, 59, of 49 Louisa Avenue, West Ellicott, died Saturday June 19, 2010, in her home. She was born October 2, 1950, in Buffalo, a daughter of the late John and Peggy Howard Woodley. For over 20 years she was employed by the Colony Motel as assistant manager. She was a member of Herman Kent Post #777 American Legion Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband Gary Kephart, whom she married September 27, 1969, three sons James (Michelle) Kephart of McKean, PA, Kenneth Kephart of Jamestown and Jon (Tiffany) Kephart of Millcreek, PA, eight grandchildren Cory, Kaylin, Kristen, Joseph, Austin, Mira, Ava and Clifton Kephart, three sisters Cheryl (Don) Barton of Grand Island, NY, Dawn (David) Velarde of Buffalo and Penny (James) Garrett of Florida and a brother Duane (Kay) Woodley of Buffalo. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Daile Kephart. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
