Obituary of Inez E. Santucci

Inez E. Santucci, 92, formerly of West Oak Hill Road in Jamestown, died at 9:55 a.m. Sunday (March 21, 2010) at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing. She was the widow of Frank Santucci whom she married April 19, 1941 and who died January 9, 2001. Inez was born in Skne, Sweden on December 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Idoff and Martha Elizabeth Goransson Paulson and came to the United States in 1927. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1937. Always a homemaker and mother, Inez had also served as bookkeeper for their family business, Industrial Welding & Fabricating, from 1957 until retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Kiantone Senior Citizens. Surviving is a son, Frederick (Mary Beth) Santucci of Jamestown; three grandchildren: Rebecca (Dr. Bradley) Fox of Fairview, PA, Bridget (Adam) Copel of Hudson, OH and Molly Santucci of Erie, PA; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Adam Fox of Fairview; and a sister, Elsy Swanson of Jamestown. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Fish in 1984 and Marilyn Estok in 2002. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Porpiglia will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
