Obituary of Francis Michael Coyle
Francis Michael "Mike" Coyle, 53, of 5 Geneva St, died unexpectedly Wednesday (February 17, 2010) in his home.
He was born January 21, 1957 in Jamestown the son of the late Francis M. and Florence McEvoy Coyle.
Mike was a 1975 graduate of Jamestown High School, and married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Fisher on August 17, 1979. For over 20 years, he was employed at Titan X. Mike also had worked at Jamestown Plywood, DeSantis, and Hartley Buick. An avid race fan of NASCAR and dirt track racing, he drove car #79 for many years at Stateline, Eriez, and Raceway 7, working his way up from the spectator class to super late models. Mike was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and a member of the International Association of Machinists Union. Mike bowled on Tuesday and Friday leagues and enjoyed long walks around the city. He loved his family and many friends and would do anything for them. He also loved his dog and cat.
Surviving besides his wife are, three daughters, Jennifer (Clint) Haskins; Kathleen Coyle; and Jessica Coyle, all of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Emily Haskins; two sisters, Mary (Dave) Leising of Jamestown; Patricia (Stan) Bradley of Lexington, NC; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Coyle.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday February 19, 2010 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Paris will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2010 in the funeral home.
