Obituary of Michael A. Piazza

Michael A. Piazza, 48, of Warren, PA, formerly of 107 Willard St., Jamestown, died Tuesday January 26, 2010, in Pine Grove Township. A Jamestown native, he was born October 7, 1961, a son of Victor and Verna Licals Piazza. He attended Jamestown Schools and was a self employed mason for over 25 years. He loved his family and took great pride in his work. Surviving besides his mother of Jamestown are five children Michael and Gabrielle Piazza (children of Sherry Lynn Piazza), Victoria Mae, Anthony and Carla Marie Piazza (children of Holly Joy Piazza) all of Buffalo, a brother William Piazza of Jamestown, two sisters Carla Stringer and Margaret Piazza, both of Jamestown, three nephews Scott, William and Joseph Piazza and three nieces Kelly Roth, Michele Schnars and Angela Backus. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Michael and Minnie Licals and Onofrio and Catalda Piazza. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. Rev. Darrell Duffy will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Arrangements are by the Lind Funeral Home.
