Obituary of Deborah G. Harrier

Deborah G. Harrier, 52, of 253 Prospect St. died Tuesday, January 12, 2010. An area resident for over 25 years, she was born November 9, 1957 in Hayward, CA, a daughter of the late David and Martha Strand. She attended school in California and enjoyed cheerleading and band. Locally, she was employed by Time Warner Cable in Jamestown where she had worked as a dispatcher. Deborah liked plants and animals, especially her pet bird and dog. Surviving are her husband, James M. Harrier Jr. whom she married in 1999; and three brothers, Denny Strand of Seattle, WA, Dale Strand of Dublin, CA and John Strand of Escalon, CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Royal Strand and a sister, Lavonne Colburn. The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Reeves, pastor of Zion Tabernacle, will officiate. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
