Obituary of Tyler Robert Blake

Tyler Robert Blake, 28, of Rockwell, NC, formerly of Celoron, died Monday, January 4, 2010 in Buffalo General Hospital following complications from his battle with cystic fibrosis. He was born in Jamestown on November 9, 1981, a son of Tim and Jan Miller Blake, and graduated from Panama Central School in 2000. Tyler had previously been employed by Cummins Engine in Lakewood. Surviving is his wife, Erin Smith Blake and son, Caleb of Celoron; his parents of Rockwell, NC; two brothers, Tim Blake II of Fort Riley, KS and Thom Blake of Ashville, NY; two sisters, Taylor Putman of Rockwell NC and Tara Blake of Kannapolis, NC; and a nephew, Mykal Blake of Fort Riley and two nieces, Oriah Blake of Fort Riley and Trinity Blake of Kannapolis. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 851 Forest Ave., Jamestown. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of WNY, 4976 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043.
