Obituary of Susan E. Ceci
Susan E. Ceci, 63, of 93 Southwestern Dr. Jamestown, passed away at 12:58 p.m. Sunday (January 3, 2010) in W.C.A. Hospital.
An area resident for most of her life she was born November 4, 1946 in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Clarence Gleason and Lucy Wilson Pado.
She was a 1965 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown Business College.
She had most recently been employed by Brigiotta's Farmland Store for five years and had earlier worked in the deli at Quality Markets for 17 years. She had also owned and operated Su- Lynns Gift Shop in Chautauqua Mall for several years.
She was a member of the Celoron-Lakewood Moose Lodge Auxiliary
She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also loved to read, cook and spent many hours sewing. She will also be remembered as one who had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
Surviving are her husband James F. Ceci whom she married April 1, 1967, three daughters Renee K. (Donald) Shutters of W.E., Jennifer S. (Edward) Shields of Sinclairville, Lori A. Ceci, a son Christopher J. (Jamie) Ceci of Lakewood, five grandchildren Amber Woodruff of Sinclairville, Haley Willis of Lakeview, NY, Trenton and Brooke Shutters of West Ellicott, Katlyn Ceci of Lakewood, a brother George Gleason of Lockport, NY, and two sisters Elaine Eddy of Buffalo, NY, Edna Howard of CA.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Jane Woodin.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman R. Gauch, pastor of the Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
