Obituary of Kathryn L. Hallett

Kathryn Hallett, 70, of Covenant Manor, passed away at WCA Hospital on December 29, 2009. She was born August 18, 1939 in Silver Creek, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Phillips) Taylor. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose face lit up whenever she was with family. Kathryn loved to play Bingo and cards, and socializing with her many friends, especially Ms. Helen Reynolds. She was very well known in Jamestown and will be sadly missed by all who were privileged enough to know her. Surviving is one sister Ethel Haltz-Ratcliffe of Florida, and step-siblings Dee Ogden of Dunkirk, and Jack Morrison of Jamestown. As well as three daughters, Sharon Davis, Brenda Hallett, and Cathy Kepler, four sons, Carl, Scott, & Kevin Hallett, and James Kepler and 20 grandchildren; Michael Wolfe, Robert Davis Jr, Casey Herrera, Samantha Evans, Joshua Davis, Amanda, Douglas, Rocco and Cierra Beardsley, Chelsey Hunt, Courtney, Ashley, Cindy and Mindy Hallett, Tasha, Nathan, Heather, Kaylee, and Amber Caylor, and Brittany Allen, as well as 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Hallett, and her sister Donna Sullivan. Service will take place at The Salvation Army, 83 S. Main St. at 2 pm Saturday January 2nd, 2009. Friends will be received one hour prior to service.
