Obituary of Irene L. Arnold

Irene L. Arnold, 74, formerly of Jamestown, NY and Auburn, NY died at 6:33 p.m. Monday (December 21, 2009) in the Chautauqua County Home, Dunkirk, NY. She was born April 26, 1935 in Busti , NY a daughter of the late Ray A. and Genevieve Steiner Johnson. In earlier years she was employed by the Mayville Central School System and also at the former Jamestown General Hospital. While living in Auburn she worked at Joann's Coffee Shop, Columbian Rope Company, Dunn McCarthy Shoes and was a nurse's aid at the Kellets Nursing Home as well as doing private duty nursing. Surviving is a daughter Candy (William) Nace of Sinclairville, four grandchildren Teela Nace, Zachary Nace, Leland Bresee, Paul Bova all of Sinclairville, five great grandchildren Jesse Morse, Shyla Nace, Phenix Nace, Tianna Bova, Shawna Nichles, two sisters Bonnie Frudd of Rochester, Raylene Dominey of MD, and a brother John A. Johnson of Buffalo. She was preceded in death by four husbands, Pete Hall, Ralph Frank Garrett, Clifford Harris, James Arnold, a brother Ray A. Johnson, Jr., a sister Velva Green, a granddaughter Wonita Garrett and a niece Vickijo Butler. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wellman Road Cemetery, Ashville, NY.
