Obituary of Robert K. Werner

Robert K. "Bob" Werner, 55, of 1429 Trask Road, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Hamot Medical Center in Erie. An area resident most of his life, he was born July 2, 1954 in Jamestown, a son of Elizabeth "Betty" Intihar Werner and the late David J. Werner. Bob was a graduate of Southwestern Central School where he was active in sports, including football, baseball and basketball. Bobby will be remembered as a wonderful caregiver to his mother and grandmother in recent years. In addition to his mother of Jamestown, surviving is a daughter, Amy S. Miller and grandson, Christian Robert Miller, both of Las Vegas, NV; his grandmother, Anna Intihar of Jamestown; a brother, David M. (Laurie) Werner of Indianapolis, IN; uncle and aunt, James and Linda Intihar of Fairfax, VA; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his father who died March 22, 2008 and a sister, Judy Werner who died February 2, 2008. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lind Funeral Home.
