Obituary of Margaret J. Fairbanks

Margaret J. Fairbanks, 82, of 197 S. Allegheny Ave., West Ellicott, went to be with her Lord Tuesday December 8, 2009. She was born November 22, 1927 in Plainville, CT, a daughter of Charles and Marjorie Stanley Morse. She attended Jamestown Public Schools and was employed as a waitress at the former Gretchen's Kitchen. She was a former member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are two children Kenneth (Valerie) Fairbanks and Gracia Fairbanks, both of Jamestown, three grandchildren Ryan Brunecz and Benjamin Fairbanks, both of Jamestown and Chelsea (Steve) Fairbanks Mamie of Irwin, PA, three great grandchildren Logan, Gage and Payton Mamie all of Irwin and a brother Charles (Gladys) Morse of Jamestown. She will be sadly missed by her cats Boo and Beau. She was preceded in death by her husband Stuart Fairbanks, who died July 19, 1958, a sister Gracia McMaster and a brother Stanley Morse. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
