Obituary of William M. Atkins

William M. Atkins, 63, of 837 Prendergast Ave Jamestown died Tuesday (July 6, 2010) in his home. He was born October 4, 1946 in Jamestown the son of the late Preston M. Atkins and Margaret J. Carlstrom Atkins Pavlock. William was a US Navy Veteran for over seven years, serving in Vietnam, and for many years, worked at Weber Knapp Corp. Surviving are three sisters, Nancy Mattoon (Gilbert); Linda Ackley (Karl); Valerie Gruber (Duane); a brother, Michael Pavlock (Barb); his step mother, Peggy Atkins; several nephews, and one niece. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Pavlock; and his step father, Al Pavlock. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial with military honors will be in Soldiers Circle in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
