Obituary of Iona B. Coalier

Iona B. Coalier, 87, of 30 Lakeview Dr., Lakewood, entered into rest Monday October 5, 2009, in Westfield. She was born July 18, 1922, in Fremont, MI, a daughter of Raymond and Frances Johnson Cook. She was employed by Schuyers Catering Service for several years and later worked as head cook at Woolworth's Department Store Restaurant for 15 years. She was an active member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and Herman Kent Post #777 American Legion Auxiliary for many years. Surviving are her husband of 67 years Edward Coalier, a daughter Patricia Ambrowsky of Jamestown, six grandchildren, Tina (Ray) Foster of Lyons, NY, Shawn (Nola Pike) Lee of Jamestown and Chad, Kelly, Caroline and Sam Coalier all of St. Louis, MO, great grandchildren Patricia Pettibon and Brandon Lee of Jamestown, Brianna Lee of Lyons, NY and several others of St. Louis, MO and a sister Leona Sheffield of North Carolina. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Lind Funeral Home.
