Obituary of Josephine M. Hutchison
Josephine Margaret Hutchison, 67, of 610 Prendergast Ave. died at 3:14 p.m. Thursday (July 30, 2009) in W.C.A. Hospital.
An area resident for most of her life she was born October 14, 1941 in the family home in Ford City, PA a daughter of the late Andrew and Louella Grafton Hagofsky.
In previous years she had worked as a secretary for JACA, working at the former Jamestown General Hospital.
She had been a communicant of the Catholic Church in Lockport and in earlier years was a member of the Henry Mosher Post # 638 American Legion Auxiliary, the John W. Tiffany Post # 149 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Falconer Moose Lodge and was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Union Jednota Branch # 200.
Surviving are a daughter Victoria Christensen of Jamestown, three sons Joseph Hutchison of Meadville, PA, Richard Hutchison, Mark Hutchison both of Jamestown, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sister Ruth Wolfe of Ford City, PA, Lillian Goldinger of McGrann, PA and two brothers Andrew Hagofsky of Weedville, PA, Richard Hagofsky of Kittanning, PA and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Volkman.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at11:00 a.m. Friday in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood, NY. The Rev. James A. Waite, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Lockport, NY will be celebrant. Inurnment will take place on August 22, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ford City, PA.
