Obituary of Lola Bennett

Lola Bennett, 66, of Frewsburg, died at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday (July 8, 2009) in WCA Hospital. She was born September 10, 1942 in Dixon County, VA the daughter of the late Shelby and Lena Counts Edwards. Prior to retirement, Lola worked at Crawford Furniture. Surviving are three sons, Larry Dean Williams of Kentucky; Kenneth R. Bennett of Jamestown; Ernest R. Bennett of Angola, NY; three daughters, Lola Jean Roaring of Troy, NY; Betty L. Hicks of Frewsburg; Elizabeth Rohm of Ashtabula, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henning F. "Hank" Bennett who died April 11, 2007. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Philip Shay will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the funeral home.
