Obituary of Frederick E. Freeman

Frederick E. Freeman, Jr., of 5436 E. Lake Rd., Erie, PA, died Thursday June 25, 2009 in Millcreek Hospital. A Jamestown native, he was born October 11, 1939, the son of the late Frederick and Phyllis Connelly Freeman, Sr. He was a 1957 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Alleghany College. He was formerly employed as a drafting engineer at Dawson Metal, Dahlstrom Manufacturing and Watson Manufacturing. Surviving are three children David (Jeana DelRosso) Freeman of Ellicott City, MD, Amy (James) Judd of Concord, OH and Sara (Benjamin) Bentley of Harborcreek, PA, five grandchildren Sofia and Jamie DelRosso-Freeman of Ellicott City, MD, Sadie Judd of Concord, OH and Brennan and Gwen Bentley of Harborcreek, PA and two sisters Sandra (Rudy) Barron of Clarksville, IN and Sally (Jim) Floros of Hudson, NY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Andrew Freeman in 2000. A graveside service will be held at noon Tuesday in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
