Obituary of Josephine M. Cusimano

Josephine M. Cusimano, 92 of Emeritus of Lakewood, formerly of 21 Hern Ave Lakewood, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday (July 19, 2010) in her home. She was born October 26, 1917 in Barnsboro, PA the daughter of Michele and Mary Notery Montagna. Josephine was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn C. LaPlaca of Lakewood; two grandsons, Steven LaPlaca of Adams, NY; James LaPlaca of Belmont, CA; five great grandchildren, Lindsay, Robert, Andrew, McKena, and Zelia. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony S. Cusimano whom she married January 14, 1936 and who died April 25, 2001; three brothers, Joseph, William, and Samuel Montagna; and four sisters, Nancy LaMarca, Clara Dena, Jennie Becken, and Rose Farina. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
