My mother, Debbie Sydnor, became friends with Helen years ago, in the late 80s or early 90s. I have fond memories of Helen visiting our home with her cat Snowy. She and my mom bonded over a love of art, and we always had a wonderful time visiting. I have recently found several of Helen's pieces in some of my late mother's belongings and would love to return them to the family. My brother has this self portrait of Helen. Apparently they became friends when he lived in VABeach because he is also a fabulous artist and she gave this to him. I have always wanted to know about her, she seems like a fascinating woman!
