Obituary of Jean T. Chili
Jean T. Chili, 88, formerly of 47 Adams Street, died Tuesday August 3, 2010, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born January 16, 1922, in Russell, PA, a daughter of the late Ira and Rhesa Neily Darling.
She was a graduate of Russell High School and Warren Business College.
Prior to her retirement she was employed by Marlin Rockwell Corporation as an office worker.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and its Hillcresters and MOPS groups and Heart to Heart Bible Study. In earlier years she was a member of the former Brooklyn Heights United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Thursday Night Dinner Club.
Surviving are four children Darla (Edward) Jureller of Derby, NY, Sabra Chili of Los Angeles, CA, Jana (Mac) McDermott of Jamestown and Terry (Lisa) Chili of Rockville, MD; eight grandchildren Tirana (Chad) Boyd of Seattle, WA, Kyle McDermott of Rochester, NY, Andrew McDermott of San Francisco, CA, Alexandra Chili of Rockville, MD, Christian Jackson of Buffalo, NY, Justin (Masako) Jureller of Chicago, IL, Deena Jureller of New Port Richie, FL and Madeline Chili of Rockville, MD.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Chili whom she married January 25, 1946 and who died July 4, 1990, a daughter Tanya Jackson and a son Todd Chili.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry McCann will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
