Reading this for the first time tonight and we are deeply saddened. We met Kevin and Terry 4 years ago when we got our beautiful Golden Retrievers from them. We instantly connected with them and will always remember what a special man he was. He loved those woods! Terry-we are thinking of you and hope you are finding peace. We have two beautiful dogs thanks to you and Kevin...Take care and may he rest in peace......

Dear Chalan, Rick, Terri, and Annette. My love and prayers go out to you for your loss. Kevin suffered for too long, and now it is over. May God give you peace, comfort and strength. Let your memories put smiles on your faces as you remember the good times. Your Grandma Rose's family is my family, too, and I love all of you.
Love always,
Phyllis

When our daughter, Terry, started seeing Kevin we thought he was hard to get to know but as time went on we could see how happy he made her and how much they were alike. I came across a quote the other day that I think fits Kevin. " Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Crap...What a ride". Rest in Peace, Kevin, We will miss you.

Kevin,
You extended your friendship to me many years ago. Since then we shared a lot of interesting times. You always had an opinion about everything and at times was your own worst enemy, as are a lot of us.
Too soon the sands run out of the hour glass called life. As one friend to another, I'll miss you and always remember the times we had. May your glass always be full and your friends many.
Your eternal friend,
George

I wish I had known Kevin but feel a deep appreciation for the man his friends and family loved. Terry, and all who loved him, have been given the gift of beautiful memories... and comfort in knowing he will always be just a thought away. God bless Kevin and those who miss him so.

I will always miss Uncle Kevin at the holidays. I enjoying when he told funny stories about grandma or my mom. He always asked me how I was doing and he was happy to talk about the good ol' days. I am proud of the cabin he built in the woods and his vision was beautiful out there. I knew how much he appreciated the outdoor life, as much as I didn't understand it. After all I was a city girl. But now as I see a bit of my adventurous side coming out, I can attribute that to my uncle Kevin. I'm glad he was able to live his life in that beautiful place with the things he loved and respected the most. I will miss you and hope you are resting in peace and most importantly pain free...
Love Allison

Kevin was my younger brother. I always thought we were so different,he was a risk taker and I was the opposite. When I started reading the obituary it really touched my heart.I realized how much we were alike. The part about appreciating the beauty in nature. Those are my feelings too. Terry and Chalan my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kevin, you have been a huge influence in my life, and for that I am a better person.
I will miss our talks, while they were few and far between, they were always good talks.
Be happy up there with Doc and all of the other good friends, and please be sure to visit my Marty and toss a ball for him once in a while. I will miss you!

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep".~Robert Frost
You taught me how to be strong and that will get me through this. You kept your promises to me and loved me until the end. Yes, our woods are lovely, dark and deep but I know you're out there somewhere loving me and encouraging me every step of this journey without you. Chalan and I will make you proud and take care of each other. I love you Kevin and my heart is just breaking knowing I will never see that sweet smile or hear that laugh again in this lifetime. Be at peace.

I am grateful that Kevin was the Dad he was to his Son Chalan and all his step-children. The Lessons you taught them have enabled each and everyone of them to achieve their goals, move ahead in life as responsible, loving and caring parents and siblings. Your presence in our lives will be missed but your memory will be a source of joy and happiness as we remember your spirit and as we return you to the Father. May Eternal Rest be granted to you and May Perpetual light shine upon you and give you Peace.
