Oh Uncle Pat, I guess I will share a memory with you right now. I remember sitting in the front seat of my Mom's van when I was maybe five years old, you and Daddy had been playing in Gramma's back yard it was spring maybe even summer, but you came up to me with the worlds biggest smile and handed me a beautiful red tulip. I smiled and said who is this for. and you smiled back and said it is for you. I love you Uncle Pat keep those stars beautiful and bright.

Thank God for Patrick, what an amazing friend. I only learned of his passing this morning when I went looking for him. I'd moved and not kept touch the last year, my fault, my loss. I'm so sad, yet so fortunate to have known him at all. His approach, his style was his own in the this hard life. I pray I still get to share a campfire that's too large while cooking meat that's too large while we discourse the universes and poke the fire with sticks . . . that are too large. Thank you Pat for all you gave of yourself to your friends.

I still have all the cards and assorted drawings he gave me when we were in high school! He was an amazing artist even before Grumpkins were born. It's hard to pick a "favorite" memory, they're all as unique as our Patrick! I'd have to say one of my favorites was the day he recited an entire Shel Silverstein poem/book to me (by memory of course) while we stood and looked out over the Grand Canyon! I like to remember the last time I saw him, which was at Trish's wedding. By that time he had coined the term "infinitely jolly," and I remember being very struck by that. Here was this guy who had been just plain kicked in the teeth by life and yet he had a grasp on something most of us struggle to understand. Amazing. And now he is out there in the universe somewhere continuing to be infinitely jolly. I can't begin to imagine the hole that his passing has left in the lives of Trish, Mimi, and all the others who loved him so. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all as you walk through the months ahead......

I will always remember how good Patrick was to the kids who came up to see his latest pumpkin, on his front porch, at festivals, he always had time to speak to all and tell them how he made certain cuts.
October won't be the same without that giant pupmpkin rotting on the porch, ( he always said it was a form of art also.)
Peace be with the family, Sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Patrick's family and friends.I did not know of Patrick until I read about his passing today on fark.com. I read his life story and living with MS on his website, Patrick seemed like a very courageous person, I am glad he was able to find joy in his life, especially after enduring many hardships. We should all remember Patrick's attitude when we are facing difficulties in our lives, find joy in everything you can. Thank you Patrick, you have touched the lives of people who you did not know.

You were one of the good ones. As I only knew you as a "fellow Farker", reading your story has brought me strength and joy, as I look at my pain-free life.
Cheesehorn... You lived so well, despite the pain you carried with you. I wish I could make the 156 Mile journey to your Memorial Service this morning, but I simply cannot make the trip.
Your work and your life is an amazing story and, though, you may have left this Earth far too soon, you left it a BETTER PLACE.
My deepest condolences to those who knew Patrick in real life.
In My Prayers,

I'm meeping at you as loud as my lungs can carry from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Its ironic that after you kept me safe and saw me off to the airport almost 11 days ago, I'm coming back to see your safe where your placed.
Good friend, it's hard to fight back the tears after so many months of food, entertainment, and talking. Every day for a long time, you will be missed, but found in memory.
