I have many fond memories of Rose after all she was my mother-in-law for 18 years. One memory (of many) that really shows what a caring loving person she was, is when I was 6 months pregnant with my second child Samantha I was put on total bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy because I wasn't gaining weight. Without question Rose packed her bags and made the trip from Jamestown to Maryland to take care of me. For three months, she cooked and made me eat every three hours just as the doctor ordered. I truly believe that it was Roses pastina in butter and homemade spagetti and meatballs that Sam was born a beautiful healthy baby! That is just one of many many memories. It is because of her that Lindsey, Samantha, and John exist and for that I thank her. I loved her and will miss her!
