Obituary of James A. Ewer
James A. Ewer, 60, also known as "Hairbag", of 12232 Rt. 394 Randolph, NY passed away at 2:50 p.m. Thursday (August 19, 2010) in W.C.A. Hospital.
An area resident for most of his life he was born February 26, 1950 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Basil Ewer and Anita White Ewer Tarajos.
He was a graduate of Panama Central School and before his retirement was a supervisor for International Ordinance Technology, Inc., where he worked for 15 years.
He will be remembered as a loving and caring father, grandfather and best friend. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, going fishing and hunting with family and friends. He also loved spending time whittling wood and working on other woodworking projects. He was truly loved by everyone that knew him.
Surviving is a daughter Cheyenne (Karl) Marsh of Randolph, four grandchildren Seneca, Lakota, Jesse, Kiyah Rain, his adopted son Kenneth (Tracy) Wilson of Jamestown and his children Skye, Samantha, three sisters Melody Clardy of Jamestown, Gale Dyke of Whitehall, MI, Gloria Vetillaro of Kiantone and his companion of three years Catherine Carlson.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marla J. Burnett who died October 12, 2004.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
