Obituary of Christopher Ruiz

Christopher Ruiz, 36, of 1927 Route 62, Frewsburg, died unexpectedly Friday, August 20, 2010 in Jamestown. An area resident most of his life, he was born January 2, 1974 in Jamestown, the son of Raul and Iris Morales Ruiz, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1992. Chris loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents of Frewsburg, surviving is his wife, Janice Guyette Ruiz of Jamestown; a son, Trysten Ruiz of Frewsburg; two sisters, Emilia Ruiz of Frewsburg and Nilda (Christopher) Naylor of Falconer; nieces Sydney and Isabella Ruiz of Frewsburg; and his two hunting buddies, Nathan Alm and Bobby Wahlberg. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Wednesday.
