Though I only knew Phil for a short time it was a pleasure. He was a very funny, kind, admirable, and strong soul. I got to know him well training with him for weeks and he always talked about his family with a big smile and loved you all. He worked so hard though it was obvious much of the time he was in a lot of pain. I currently am watching my father go through this and Phil gave me a lot of inspiration, strength, and hope. RIP friend, you are pain free and in a better place though missed deeply on this Earth. Thoughts are with the family.
