Obituary of Michael Jayden Wood

Michael Jayden Wood, age 5, beloved son of Jeff and Heather Karlonis Wood of 16 Brickel Place Jamestown, died Wednesday September 1, 2010 in Women and Children's Hospital Buffalo following a courageous five year battle with medical issues. He was born February 23, 2005 in Jamestown. Surviving besides his parents are, three brothers, Cody Karlonis of SC; Tyler Wood and Jeffery Wood Jr., both of Jamestown; three sisters, Brandi Bonnette of SC; Breanne Wood of PA; Katy Wood of Jamestown; his grandfather, Ronald L. Wood Sr. of Alaska; uncles, Ronald Wood, William Whitehill, Felix Bermea, Rick Hutchins, Chris Dow; aunts, Marla Bermea, Crystal Case, Karen Hutchins, Shannon Dow; cousins, Angela Rabon, Cyrus Rabon, Landon Case, Anna Dow, and Gabby Bonnette. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Blake Vaughn; and his grandmothers, Mary McKee and Margurite Wood. Michael will be remembered as a courageous, strong, loving boy who fought hard for five years. He is loved dearly and will be missed by his Mom and Dad and all who knew him. The family would like to extend their love and a special thank you to all of Michael's care givers over the past five years. The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday September 5, 2010 in the Lind Funeral Home. His uncle, Rev. William Whitehill will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
