Obituary of Christopher W. Rollinger

Christopher W. Rollinger, 25, of 830 Spring St. died unexpectedly Wednesday (September 15, 2010) in his home. He was born September 27, 1984 in Jamestown the son of Deborah Covedill Norrod and William C. Rollinger. Chris enjoyed riding his bicycle, motocross, and cars. He was always tinkering and fixing things, especially for others. Chris loved his children and family very much. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. Surviving are his mother; father and step mother, Mary all of Jamestown; his companion Annie Higgs; five children, Dakota, Jazmyn, Kristin, Nicole, and Staci; brothers and sisters, Michael (Stephanie) Norrod; Melissa Norrod (Tony DeJesus); Carrie (Mike) Ordines; Kaitlyn McKoon; Jasmine Rollinger; Joshua Rollinger, all of Jamestown; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Richard Covedill; paternal grandparents, Edith and James Mckillip; maternal great grandmother, Bernice Stone; maternal great great grandmother, Wilma Ornce all of Jamestown; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Rollinger Sr.; and his uncle, John Johnson. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Monday in the funeral home.
