Obituary of Joan M. Yusz

Joan M. Yusz, 78, of 34 Second Street High Acres, Bemus Point, died Friday September 17, 2010, in WCA Hospital. She was born April 12, 1932, in Maple Springs, NY, a daughter of the late Everett and Marjorie Hoyt Hawley. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Bemus Point Central School District as a bus driver. She was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and the Senior Bowling League in Jamestown and Lake Placid, FL. Surviving are her husband Danial Yusz, who she married December 3, 1988, four daughters Mary Lou Ranney of Stockton, Roxann (Ray) Jurkowski and Nancy Price of Bemus Point and Dorothe (John) Hubbert of Lake Placid, FL; eight grandchildren Mark (Wendy) Ranney of Randolph, James Ranney of Stockton, Jennifer (Adam) Collins Stockmeyer of Holland, NY, Christopher (Susan) Price of Bemus Point, Nicholas (Jennifer) Price of Jamestown, Amanda Mayer of Lake Placid, FL, John Hubbert, Jr. of Barto, FL and Amy Hubbert of Leesburg, FL and five great grandchildren. Beisdes her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Hawley and Everett Hawley, Jr. and a sister Rhoda Sanders. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Burial will be in Bemus Point Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
