Melvin will surely be missed by my mom{Verna} his aunt.As kids, Melvin, Karen & ME would would spend time swimming & playing hide & seek all summer in Lakewood with his mother Aunt Josie{Josephine}. We would make tents out side and tell ghost stories at night. We had alot of fun together.To the rest of the family most of whom never got to know him, he was misunderstood.He was very smart, top of his class in Lakewood & also in Lockport High. He had a increditable memory, of his child hood & the time we spent together.He
and Uncle Charles always kept in touch & were very close. Uncle Charles helped him out all the time since he was a boy and beyond to manhood. I will miss him,he was alone most of his life.Well now at least he won't be alone any more, he will have his Family he missed so much his Mother, Grandma & Uncle Charles with him, the people he loved most with him.
