Obituary of Kenneth E. Bergman

Kenneth E. Bergman, Jr., 57, of 11 Wesleyan Street, Panama, died Thursday October 7, 2010, in WCA Hospital. He was born May 24, 1953, the son of Kenneth and Joyce Terry Bergman, Sr. He was a graduate of Panama Central School. He was employed by Accurite where he was awarded several certificates of achievement and later worked for Cummins Engine Plant. He loved cooking and playing bluegrass music on the guitar, banjo or harmonica. Surviving besides his mother are children Michael (Lisa) Bergman of Busti and Amy Bergman of Ashville; grandchildren Jesse Szablewski, Jr, Cooper and Ridley Bergman and Travis and Ryley Ray; sisters Karen Lewis, Brenda Maloy and Kathy Foulk all of Panama and Judy Tremblay of Ashville and a brother John Bergman of Panama. He was preceded in death by his father. The funeral will be held at 2 p..m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Berguson will officiate. Burial will be in Panama Greenwood Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
