Obituary of Clarence Orville Kepler, Sr.

Clarence Orville Kepler Sr., 74, of 23 W. Third St, died at 4:05 a.m. Monday (October 11, 2010) in his home. He was born October 20, 1935 in Ellington, NY the son of the late Harry J. and Elizabeth Seekings Kepler. Clarence was a retired employee of Mayflower Moving and was a member of the Herman Kent Post 777 American legion. He was an avid card player and enjoyed watching the New York Yankee's and Cleveland Browns. Surviving are his longtime companion, Barbara Deyell of Jamestown; two sons, Harold Kepler of Holland, NY; Jim Kepler of Jamestown; a daughter, Cathy Kepler of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Alberta Wolfe of Jamestown. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Orville Kepler Jr.; a brother, Clyde Kepler; and an infant brother. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until Noon Wednesday October 13, 2010 in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Bemus Point Cemetery.
