I always remember with fondness, the summer days visiting Uncle Howie, pawing through the dump in the gully and when we got old enough playing monopoly half the night with the grown-ups. Pushing the furniture to the edges of the room so we could all polka was fun too. Then there are the drives from Ohio to Jamestown in the winter for the holidays and the snow piled higher than the car along the road, sledding on the hill. What fun and great memories. My love and condolences to all Aunt Irene and the cousins.

Howard will be missed,we enjoyed his stories and company,Randy loved being able to ask him what some strange looking antique tool was and he would always know, he will miss Howard's "handywork" the most, that gave him a challenge and had him have to really think about getting something back together and running again, thanks Irene for sharing him

We remember Howard out in our back yard and the many stories he had to tell. Our son could have talked with him forever. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by everyone.

Many memories of 'Unca Howard'. I remember riding in the backseat of his car with Connie, and I would sit forward and lean on the back of his seat to talk to him. Must have 'driven' him crazy! There was his van with Cindy's footprints all the way around it; they dipped her feet in paint and he held her up while she 'walked' around it- very cool. The time my brother Dan lost Howard's tractor key during a visit- I think the McCollough kids existed to give him indigestion! He managed to laugh about it. His house was fun to visit with the pool, the 'gulley', the horse Cricket, and Aunt Irene, his partner in crime. Who can forget those beautiful blue eyes! He will be missed.
