Dear Sylvia and all of your wonderful family: Jim will be missed so much. In his own quiet way, Jim was your pillar of strength whenever the going got rough. Please know that your friends are here for you whenever they are needed. You had a great marriage, the most wonderful man to love you and many, many great memories to comfort you. You are the strongest woman I know, but if you need to talk, laugh or cry I will always have an empty shoulder. With love, Bev

So many good memories of my grandpa. He'd save the funny papers for you, have a cold drink in the fridge and offer to take you fishing if it was nice out. He'd tell the best groaner jokes and had a million stories. He was my grandpa who drew me kangaroos, had me chasing birds with salt shakers, and ordering chicken lips at restaurants. I miss you, Grandpa.

I didn't really know Jim, but my dad sure did. He brought out a photo album on Sunday and went through it with me, he was remembering your dad and a fishing trip to Canada in 1960...my dad was very sadden at the loss of his lifelong friend, but he was happy to think of all the times they shared together and I enjoyed hearing the tales of this great friend! David and Sherrie I do remember a time that we stayed with you when I was very young....my deepest sympathy to all of you.

Good bye to a sweet neighbor that I will miss. I will always feel blessed for knowing Jim. I am grateful for his influence on my son and that he was a part of his life and for the loving tears he shed when he spoke of Lee. I am pretty sure they have gone fishing together already. God bless the family and I wish them comfort in their grief for the loss of such a dear soul.

Deepest Sympathies to ALL of Jim's family. He was my cousin and since I was born was always there with a joke, a laugh, a smile and a cheerful heart. Growing up I spent many Sunday dinners around the dinner table in his home with so much love and fun - a good memory I will have forever. When I moved so far away I thought he would not know who I was when I approached him in a restraurant a few years ago - he grabbed me, gave me a big hug and said "Of course I know who you are!" - That made me feel so special. He was like that - always made you feel SPECIAL. You will be truly miss JIM, God Bless you.
