I do not ever recall Red in a nasty mood. He always had time to stop and say hello and always made you feel at ease around him. My deepest regrets to his sweet and loving and kind wife Hellen and his children. I am sure Hellen feels as though she has lost a part of herself for they were truly one.

Although we only met once, you told me many wonderful stories of your past and I will treasure them forever. My prayers are with Grandma Fain and all the children and grand-children and especially my Billy who is so very sad.

It was always a joy to see Uncle Billy and Aunt Helen pull into the driveway. He always had a story to tell, make you laugh and smile. We have missed him coming to the races in Talladega. Now he is with the Lord and all his family gone before him. What stories they can share now. Love to Aunt Helen, Tommy, Judy and Donna from Vickie (Douglas and Elsie's daughter, Lincoln, Ala.

Helen,Tom,Donna and Judy,
Please know that many thoughts and prays of comfort are being sent your way form the Ford family. It is never easy when we lose our parents. We all have a lot of good memoriers of our childhood on Pine street. Loved, when we got older and had children of our own, and he would show up on Christmas Eve, dressed as Santa. He was the best!!! May you find comfort in the next few days knowing he is at peace in heaven.

Red was a very good friend of my boyfriend Morgan "Mo" Marks who passed away Nov.12, 2007 in a truck accident. Red would pull into our driveway on Townline Rd. and blow the horn, we always knew it was Red out there, lol. Red was actually a friend of Morgan's whole family. He was a good old boy, and he was never short on stories. Boy, he could make you laugh. Now he can sit around once more with Morgan and shoot the breeze...bring a big hug to Morgan from me Red.....
