She was my kindergarten teacher at Fletcher and then my daughter's at Celoron school. I remember her telling me that when I was in her class, she bought paper and pencils with her own money to teach us how to write our names, but the principal took them away - said our hands were too small for them. By the time my daughter had her, they were taking a test to "graduate" to 1st grade. She was a great teacher!

Mrs. Ricketts was my kindergarten teacher at Celoron elementary school in 1980. She and I shared the same birthday and we had a big celebration that year for our birthday that I have never forgotten. I have many other fond memories of her that I will cherish forever. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

To Mary,
Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I have fond memories of your Mom and Dad when they were on Hunt Road. She was always smiling, friendly and upbeat. For those of us who have dealt with loved ones having Alzheimer's, the good memories will live on with us and be cherished. God Bless.

I was a student teacher in her Kndg.room in the Spring of 1971. She was very nice and helpful to me. I then went on to be an elementary teacher for 39 years just retiring this year. I thought of her often while doing certain things that I learned in her room.

Dear Ann and Mary- unfortunately I was unable to attend tonight's visitation to see you in person, so I wanted to make sure that you knew how sorry I am to hear about your mom. I have such great memories of her when we used to "play" at your house as kids(I can smell those homemade cookies now!) and then as her colleague at SW- she had a genuine passion for teaching that is rarely seen today! My thoughts and prayers are with you both during this difficult time. Love, Martha and family

We have such fond memories of the wonderful parties and fun events that took place over the past 50 years. My dad and your father played as partners in the Moon Brook Member Guest for years, and my mother and Marilyn along with the rest of the gang always enjoyed each other's company.
I always remember her dedication and passion for the teaching profession.
Your mom was a wonderful lady and we will miss her.
Much love,
