It is true that it took awhile to get to know Mae. After doing that though one would get exposed to her great sense of humor, her caring for her friends and family, and her seriousness about her work. She had two "kids" who were not hers from birth but were treated as if they were so. Mae was a very heartfelt person and I miss her.

I know Mae through work. Although it wasn't easy to get to know her right away, once you did know her, you realized what a wonderful person she was, what a big heart she had for her family, and what a wonderful coworker she was.
One of the most memorable thing I remember, is the day she missed her chair and landed on the floor. We all rushed to see if she was OK and it took her about 5 minutes to quit laughing to let us know she was OK and that we could help her get up. I remember her laugh that day and how wonderful it was.
I will miss her.

I will never forget growing up seeing you sit on the porch keeping watch over Bill,Cathleen,Rich & I. I always remember what good person you were & how much you sacrificed raising Billy& Cathleen. You always worked so hard to make sure they were provided for. I hope you in perfect peace. Thank you for being such a friend & neighbor to me growing up.
