Obituary of Ritamarie Davis

Ritamarie Rafael Davis, 46, of Douglasville, GA, died Wednesday December 16, 2010, in Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Georgia. A long time resident of Jamestown, she was born May 24, 1964 in Staten Island, NY, a daughter of Father Nicholas and Claire Mastropasqua Rafael, Sr. She was a 1982 graduate of Jamestown High School and later earned an Associate's Degree from Jamestown Community College and a Bachelor's Degree from Thomas Jefferson College, Trenton, NJ. She served in the US Navy from 1987-91. She was a sales entrepreneur and an extremely talented and gifted artist, especially with drawing and painting Surviving besides her mother of Greenhurst, are three children Jordan, 21, Kyra, 20 and Cassandra 16, all of Douglasville, two brothers Rev. Nicholas Rafael II (Olga) of Vineland, NJ and Dr. Timothy J. Rafael (Chryssanthe) of Ardmore, PA and a sister Christina Brown (Kristopher) of Greenhurst. The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Friends will be received from 10a.m. to noon Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
