Obituary of Russell E. Gustafson

Russell E. Gustafson, 50, of 320 Newland Ave. died unexpectedly Sunday, December 19, 2010 in his home. He was born in Jamestown on April 2, 1960, a son of Kenneth R. Gustafson Sr. and the late Louise Kolesar Gustafson. He attended Jamestown Public Schools and was a member of the Class of 1978. Russell will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, always putting others before himself. He loved animals, especially cats and birds. All who knew him, loved him. He is survived by his father of Jamestown; a brother, Kenneth R. Gustafson Jr. of Jamestown, sister, Brenda (David) Cole of Kiantone and twin brother, Thomas Michael Gustafson I of Jamestown; nephew and niece Thomas Michael Gustafson II of Jamestown and Ashley Hughes of California; and two great-nephews, Quinn and Cillian Hughes of California. He was preceded in death by his mother on May 3, 2000. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
