Marie was a dear lady who was a foster grandparent in my kindergarten classroom at C.C.Ring School for about eight years. The children loved her and she helped the children to grow and learn. She was kind to all and was a great help in my classroom. I will miss her.

We did not know Marie personally, but Marie's apparent love for her children has been demonstrated to us through her daughter Anna Mae who lovingly cared for our grandaughter for eighteen years, from birth through graduation from High School. She has become a member of our family and through her we have enjoyed the benefit of Marie's legacy. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family.

Aunt Marie...what a wonderful, beautiful, loving lady! You and Uncle Chuck were good friends with my parents and I grew up with Charlotte and Anna Mae. You made the best cookies ever and I loved coming to your home. You always greeted me with open arms and a smile on your face. May you rest in peace with our heavenly Father. My condolences to the family.

Anna Mae is my dearest friend and as I see Marie's picture, I see you, Nanny, in her eyes and on her face. Oh, how the Joy of the Lord shines through Marie. The Joy of Heaven within.
I thank God for Marie's life and the love and goodness she bestowed upon her family and community. Marie's children are blessed to call her Mom and their love for her will remain etched on their hearts as God has placed it there. I am blessed to have Anna Mae as my dearest friend who passes on Marie's generous heart and sweet spirit of love and kindness. Nanny, Carol, and Charles as you hold each other close, you will know your Mother's embrace. As Marie sings with the breath of angels, my prayers are with you and all your family.

Though we never met our son chuck and daughter michelle's mom we felt we knew her intimately and personally from talking to them about her. They truly loved her and admired her. C.J. and Jessica also wanted to visit her as often as possible and they all enjoyed a visit with her recently. Our hearts go out to you at this time of your loss. Sincerely - Joseph and Anita

Grandma, you taught me so much about life and love... and cooking! (And the value of a good motorcycle ride!) You taught others by example with the life you led. You were a constant in my life and I always knew I could count on you. Bob and I learned from you just how to REALLY enjoy a cup of coffee. I know you always loved the Lord and taught me how important this relationship is. Thank you for being who you were. I love you and I miss you, Grandma. SO LONG...
