Obituary of Victor J. Rodgers

Victor James Rodgers, 50, of 20 E Fifth St died Tuesday (December 28, 2010) in his home. He was born April 28, 1960 in Warren, PA the son of Delbert Rodgers and the late Beverly Joyce Hallowell. Victor had been employed at Fancher Chair. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Surviving besides his father of Warren are his four children, Tammy Conklin of Jamestown; Susan Marie Milliman of Garland, PA; Jamie Rogers of Ellery Center; Daniel James Rogers of FL; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah, Matthew, Justin, Kayla, Curtis, Lindsey, Zachary, Anthony, Jeremy, Dru, Marcos, Jerimiah, and Noah; two sisters, Judy Ann Duckett of Butler, PA; Nora Rogers of Kennedy; a brother, Herman Hallowell Jr. of Kennedy; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2009; and his stepfather, Herman Hallowell Sr. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St., PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
