Obituary of Sebastian Ferraloro

Sebastian "Busty" Ferraloro, 73, of 196 Howard St. passed away at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday (January 4, 2011) in W.C.A. Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born October 19, 1937 in Tortorici, Sicily a son of the late Carmello and Mary Pinzone Ferraloro. Before his retirement he was employed by the Marlin Rockwell Corporation for 34 years. He will be remembered as one who had a keen interest in cars, either buying, selling or trading. Surviving are his wife the former Ann Pintagro whom he married July 22, 1987, six daughters Mary (Leo) Hummerich, Rita Ferraloro, Delia (Ken) Crooks, Renee Ferraloro, Jennifer Ferraloro, Carla Ferraloro all of Jamestown, nine grandchildren, a sister Mary Ann (Robert) Tonkin and a brother Russell Ferraloro both of Jamestown. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Carl and Anthony Ferraloro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led by Rev. Duffy at 8:30 p.m. Friday. The family would like to thank W.C.A. Hospital and the staff of 3-B for the excellent care that was given to Busty during his illness.
