Obituary of Margaret G. Wendell

Margaret G. Wendell, 92, of 150 Prather Ave. formerly of Loyalton of Lakewood, passed away at 5:18 p.m. Sunday (January 30, 2011) in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. An area resident for the past three years, she was born August 8, 1918 in Nutley, NJ a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Jennie V. Murren Kanaley. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lakewood, NY. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Lind Funeral Home. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lakewood will officiate. Burial will be in the Bemus Point Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 380 East Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, NY 14750.
