Dear brother, you always had a smile, a open ear, and a hug for me. Even though we never met till later on in our lives we became fast friends, I will always remember you and miss you, your loving sister.

I'll miss Don, he always gave me a chuckle when I'd see him. He had a way of reminding me of the things that are important.

I worked with Don for several years at Master Carver's. He was a very talented woodworker and I learned a lot from him. He had a great sense of humor and I looked forward to taking breaks together with him. Don had a wonderful way of poking fun at those who thought they were better than the rest of us. I missed his laughter at work after he retired. My sympathy to his family.

Susan,
I hope you remember who I am. I worked for your mom years ago and I am still in Medical Records at the Lutheran Home. My sincere sympathy in the loss of your father. I see from the obituary that you have 2 daughters. I am sure they are as beautiful as you were 30 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Jan Basile

Let me say to all Don's family and friends that we at Fancher Chair will miss the man we remember as a hard worker, a good friend and a fun guy. Don was a great sample maker and dedicated to his job. He liked people and it always showed. Our hearts and warm thoughts go out to his children.
