Obituary of David E. Evans

David E. Evans, 65, of 1861 New York Ave., Falconer, died Monday, February 28, 2011 in his home. He was born May 17, 1945 in Clearfield County, PA the son of the late Carrie Frantz. Following graduation from high school, David served in Vietnam with the US Army. He was a retired employee of Bush Industries and earlier worked at Proto Tool for many years. Surviving are seven step children, Linda (Rick) Houghwot of Frewsburg; Judy (Norman) Yonkers, John Hallett Sr., both of Jamestown; Cindy Orr, Tom (Janice) Hallett Sr., both of Kennedy; Penny Eidson of Corry, PA; Chuck (Patty) VanGuilder of Falconer; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Trout of Jamestown. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie J. Grover Evans; a step son, William VanGuilder; a sister, Shirley Hallett; and a brother, Kenny Evans.
