Obituary of Theodore Phillips

Theodore "Teddy" Phillips, 77, of the Intermediate Care Facility, 862 Foote Ave. passed away at 2:10 p.m. Monday (February 28, 2011) in W.C.A. Hospital. An area resident since 1982 he was born June 16, 1933 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Theodore and Caroline Phillips. He will be remembered as a loving and caring person who was very affectionate and very social. He loved to listen to music, camping, wearing his assortment of hats and loved the Christmas season. He also love going to the movies and dinner with Bobetta. He was especially loved by his caregivers at the resource center. He is survived by his Aunt Jean Allio of Bayonet Point, FL and by his special friend Bobetta Swanson. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Parish at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
